Congratulations to Dr. Hartung for her recent publication in Analytical Bioanalytical Chemistry. The group of Dr. Schebb is investigating the oxylipins formed in the arachidonic acid cascade since a decade. Thanks to the new method developed by Nicole Hartung during her PhD studies described in the manuscript, the oxylipin-forming enzymes of the arachidonic acid can be quantified. This is the first quantitative proteomics technique described for the arachidonic acid cascade, allowing a better understanding of the formation and biology of oxylipins. Check it out here!
